About the company
Miss Polonia is a competition based on a 90-year-old tradition,
whose winners delight not only with their beauty, but also with
their charisma and willingness to help others. The event was held
under the Honorary Patronage of the Marshal of the Lower Silesian
Voivodeship, thanks to whom the Miss represents her voivodeship
during regional events and has the opportunity to enter the
competition at the national level. The winners have a chance to
represent our country on the international arena, taking part in
such competitions as Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Grand
International.
The challenges
The job of our agency consisted of comprehensive preparation of the
event. In the first phase of the project, the most important thing
was to obtain sponsors and patrons, thanks to whom the competition
could have been held at the highest possible level. Our tasks also
included the organisation of castings and the pre-final gathering,
as well as the final gala itself. It was also necessary to widely
promote the event with the support of media relations and social
media activities, as well as to prepare specific promotional
materials.
The solutions
The work devoted to obtaining the patronage was successful. We
managed to win the Honorary Patronage of the Marshal, as well as
support of such media as Gazeta Wrocławska and Radio Eska and many
other companies and institutions. Then we started working on the
organisation of castings, which took place in shopping malls in the
largest provincial cities: Wrocław, Wałbrzych, Jelenia Góra, Kłodzko
and Bolesławiec. At this stage, we were particularly interested in
contact with the regional media.
Then we organised the pre-final gathering of candidates, which took place at the Buczyński Hotel. The finalists had to face numerous tasks, such as taking part in a photo session, sports training and cosmetic workshops.
The culmination of the competition was the Final Gala. 400 guests appeared at the Wrocław Stadium, and 88 thousand people saw the broadcast. The finalists presented themselves in four outfits: Harder and Wake Up & Squat sportswear, Sunbarrel swimsuits and wedding and evening dresses from Agnieszka Światły’s Atelier. During the Gala, the current Miss Polonia of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship – Sara Pożarlik – was chosen.
Our task was also to promote the competition and all accompanying actions. We have prepared many media messages, which have been widely published in such media as TTV, Fakty TVN, Super Express and Radio Eska. The total number of publications was 827, and their AVE (Advertising Value Equivalency) was PLN 887,610.
Our agency also organised the Great Lower Silesian Charity Ball, which took place at the Buczyński Hotel. The donations collected during the event, amounting to PLN 8.5 thousand, were transferred to the Cape of Hope Hospital in Wrocław.
